In this study we we investigated gray matter volumes (GMV) of 20 regions of interest (ROI) previously associated with ultra-high risk (UHR) criteria in 90 patients from the Bern early detection service: clinical controls (CC), first-episode psychosis (FEP), UHR, basic symptoms (BS) and UHR&BS. We expected lowest GMV in FEP and UHR&BS, and highest volume in CC with UHR and BS in-between.

This paper examined systematically the relationship between subtle subjective visual dysfunctions (VisDys) and core clinical measures across three early phase psychiatric conditions. Second, a novel multivariate pattern analysis approach was used to predict VisDys by resting-state functional connectivity within relevant brain systems.

The next course on the assessment of basic symptoms using the “Schizophrenia Proneness Instruments” (SPI-A and SPI-CY) will be held from 10th until 13th December 2024, 15:00-18:30 CET as online workshop.
The course will be led by PD Dr Frauke Schultze-Lutter and has been submitted to the NRW Chamber of Psychotherapists for certification (21 CME points).
The participation fee is 350.00 Euros; for students 45.00 Euros.

Juni 2024 und vom 5.-7.Dezember 2024 jeweils von 09:00-17:00 Uhr MEZ als Online-Workshop statt.
Die Schulung wird von PD Dr. Frauke Schultze-Lutter geleitet und ist bei der Psychotherapeutenkammer NRW zur Zertifizierung eingereicht (29 CME-Punkte).
Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt 450,00 Euro; für Student*innen 45,00 Euro.
Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 30 Personen begrenzt. Die Plätze werden nach dem Prinzip “Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst” vergeben.
